Model-Ex
has increased in size year-on-year and has now outgrown
Windmill School. A decision has been taken to rest the
event next year in order to consider alternative options
for 2009.

Model-Ex
2007 was another roaring success. With around 2500 models
on show, from a 2 inch figure to a 10 foot boat, and
everything in between including 50 plus radio controlled
boats, 6 railway layouts of differing scales, live steam,
50mph 1/6 scale racing cars and some of the largest
R/C tanks commercially available by over 100 exhibitors.
Over the two days we played host to over 1200 visitors
from all over the country. We raised over £1500
for Raunds Windmill School and £250 for the club.
As
many of you know this was the last show at the School
as we have outgrown the venue. We had provisionally
booked another venue for 2008 but communication problems
led us to cancel the show for next year. We are however
actively seeking a new venue for 2009. Please use this
website for more information.
