I
thought you would like to see some of the pictures
John Bailey and I took of the very nice Oxford
Models and Classix diecasts. I firstly came across
these at T
& R Models, Wellingborough and thought
then that they were ideal for model railway layouts.
After reading reviews about them in Model
Collector I then realised they could be a
good basis for a model collection, being of a
size that they would not take up a lot of room.
Having a interest in classic commercials I decided
to have a closer look at them. So off i toddled
to T & Rs for a gander and was amazed at the
detail put into these 1/76 scale vehicles. I now
own a total of around 16 already, with more on
order.
Photos
were taken with a basic digital by me and close
ups with a better camera by John Bailey. For those
with a faster internet connection, two of the
pictures are available in high resolution (files
are more than 1MB).
