of Local Events - April 2008
Tractors
of Eastern European manufacture will be the theme
of the first of this year’s Model Tractor and Literature
Shows, which will take place on Sunday 6th April.
Billed as the Tractor 2008 Spring Show, the event will
feature a small display of full-size Zetor and Belarus
tractors. A limited-edition show model of a Belarus
820 Tractor (1/43rd Scale) will be on sale during the
event.
The
Spalding show is recognised as the largest gathering
of its type for farm toy enthusiasts in Britain, regularly
attracting collectors and dealers from across the UK
and Europe. Expect to find a wide selection of obsolete
toy tractors on offer, as well as the latest model releases.
There will also be plenty to search for on the many
stalls selling literature, books, ephemera and vintage
tractor spares. Many of the leading clubs will also
be in attendance.
